About IIM Ranchi
IIM Ranchi is the ninth IIM which was established in the year 2010 with joint efforts of IIM-Calcutta and the government of Jhakhand, seeking the need of quality management education there. IIM Ranchi has a vision to strive for holistic development of individuals through management education and helping the society for over all development. The Institute currently offers PGDM which is the flagship programme of every IIM, PGDMHRM which is two years PGDM with HRM as specialization, Fellow Programme in Management and PGEXP.

Library
IIM Ranchi has a very well-stocked management library which is known as “Athenaeum – The Learning Resource Center”. It is a modern library with a balanced collection of books, databases, CDs-DVDs, journals, e-books and reports, etc. It plays a very vital role in the institute as it provides lots of knowledge and information resource required to the students and faculty. The electronic resources subscribed by the library are accessible to the users through Institute’s network. The library’s functions and services are fully automated. Users of the library are also provided with online access to the e-library to use the information resources from their own laptops or desktops. The electronic library provides round the clock service to the academic community, seven days a week.

IIM Ranchi PGP 2014-16 Admission Criteria
IIM Ranchi will follow these criteria for admissions in 2014-16 batch of PGP. It is a three step process, where students are short-listed for the next session on the basis of Personal Appearance through CAT Score 2013, WAT & PI and profile of the candidate. IIM Ranchi’s CAT Score Cut Off for 2014-2016 is 90 percentile.
