Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
The programme aims at acquiring new skills, techniques and knowledge of key business areas, such as Strategic Management, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Business Ethics and HR, and integrate these concepts to an enterprise level. The structure of the programme, experienced faculty, corporate connections adds richness to the educational experiences of the students. The curriculum keeps changing regarding dynamic nature of business world and emphasis on ensuring practical experiences for students is of paramount importance. Other key aspects are to develop entrepreneurship and leadership qualities.
PGDM (International Business)
In the era of globalization, there is a need to upgrade your skills to handle the new demands of the industry. Candidates are required to elevate their business credentials. The International Business programme in BIMTECH is designed to prepare the students for a successful and rewarding career in the field of international business
The course content and the activities have been premeditated to help students understand the complexities of international business operations and equip them with the knowledge base to deal with them. Students are trained to explore and exploit opportunities in international business. Mandatory study visits to national/international ports/ airports is an integral part of the course. The Programme is spread over six terms to impart the ability and skill to communicate, analyze business situations and take decisions. The programme offers specialization in three areas: Marketing, Finance and Operations.
PGDM (Retail Management)
This programme prepares students for a career in the retail sector. It’s an initiative to enlighten future managers to successfully contribute in the retail industry. Students will get an opportunity to learn, basic retailing, merchandising concepts, modern techniques, and practices to evaluate consumer market and how to retain them. During the course, students not only develop interpersonal and communication skills but capability to incorporate class room teaching in practicality.
PGDM (Insurance Business Management)
The course aims at teaching business analysis, a study of advanced risk management (including enterprise risk management), micro finance, micro insurance and micro health insurance. Students are taught the elements of Actuarial Science, Marketing, Finance, CRM, OB & HR and Personal Financial Planning (Wealth Management). Development of soft skills, corporate visits, and industry based projects
BIMTECH has tie ups with Life Office Management Association (LOMA), USA, is an educational partner and BIMTECH is an approved center for LOMA examination. Quite a few of the life insurance subjects taught at BIMTECH are based on the LOMA curriculum. The Two year PGDM (Insurance Business) has been recognized as according recognition by way of credit by the Insurance Institute of India (III), Mumbai. The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), UK has accorded recognition (by way of credits) to our PGDM (Insurance Business) course. BIMTECH is an academic partner to the International Institute of Business Analysis, Canada (IIBA).
