MICA opens applications for phase II Admission process

MICAT - II to be conducted in 18 cities on February 14; GE-PI in Ahmedabad in March second week
MICA has opened theapplications for the phase II admission process of its 2016-18 batch of the flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communications (PGDM-C).
Based on increased number of applicants, we are happy to announce an increase in the number of centres from 14 Cities in MICAT - I to 18 Cities in MICAT - II. The new cities added in MICAT - II are Bhubaneswar, Pune, Patna and Visakhapatnam (Vizag).MICAT - I was conducted successfully in 14 cities in computer based format. 5, 251 candidates applied in MICAT - I out of which 536 have been shortlisted for GE & PI of Phase I. GE & PI of Phase I will be held in 5 Cities - Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai from January 16 to 18, 2016.
The selection process has been uploaded on MICA website and the candidates will be provided access to their individual scores in the objective type sections, namely Verbal ability, Quantitative ability, General Awareness and Divergent-Convergent Reasoning. The modalities for providing the scores are being worked out.
Out of the 536 candidates called for Phase I GE & PI, those who receive the confirmed admission offer will be intimated on or before January 31, 2016 (i.e. before the applications for MICAT - II close). All those who do not get a confirmed admission offer at the end of Phase I, shall become part of the pool of Phase II and a combined merit list shall be prepared based on the selection process provided here: http://www.mica.ac.in/postgraduate-programme/selection-process-and-timelines.
The changes in the selection process to MICA’s PGDM programme have been made to make the process more inclusive and convenient to the candidates.
About PGDM-C
The PGDM-Cis a two-year, full-time, residential programme approved by AICTE and deemed equivalent to an MBA by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
It is a differentiated MBA programme that creates leadership through Creative Thinking, Communication, ConsumerCentricityand Community Outreach.
Eligibility
A Bachelor's degree (in keeping with the 10 + 2 + 3 system) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.

Candidates will need to apply online at mica.cqtech.in.
Important Dates
For the phase II of the admission process, MICAT will be held in 18 cities and GE-PI will be held at the MICA campus in Ahmedabad. The timeline is as under:
