Mica Opens Applications For MICAT-1 Test For PGDM-C/PGDM 2020-22 Admissions 2019

MICA Ahmedabad, India’s premier management school for Strategic Marketing and Communications, has opened applications for its 2020-22 batch of the flagship 2-year PGP Program (Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communication/Post Graduate Diploma in Management).

This year, it has simultaneously opened applications for its 1-year Post Graduate Certificate Program, Crafting Creative Communications (CCC), and the 4-year Fellow Programme in Management (FPM).

Applicants who wish to participate in the admission process for PGDM and PGDM-C will have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the institute, known as MICAT. MICAT is conducted twice a year and better of the two scores is considered as a student may choose to write both MICAT I and II.

The entrance exam, MICAT-I will be held on December 7, 2019, and MICAT-2 will be held on January 25, 2020.

For the CCC and FPM programmes, an online exam will be conducted in January and March 2020 respectively.

The last date for online application for PGDM-C/PGDM MICAT-1 exam is November 25, 2019. The last date for online application for CCC programme is Jan 16, 2020.

For CCC programme, a group exercise and personal interview (GE & PI) process will happen this year in five cities viz, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai, instead of Ahmedabad only, as was the case previously.

The FPM-C applications will close on March 15, 2020.

PGDM-C/PGDM Programs have the same admission criteria; academic and student support offering and infrastructural facilities and the key differentiator is the Urban Immersion Project (UIP), a mandatory 6-credit offering for the PGDM students which is optional for the students of the PGDM-C program. We also have a fair and transparent admission process."

MICAT-I will be conducted on December 7th, 2019, at Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Ajmer, Aligarh, Allahabad, Bareilly, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Dhanbad, Faridabad, Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Gwalior, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Meerut, Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, Muzaffarnagar, Nagpur, Noida, Panjim, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Surat, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vadodara, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.

MICAT is a computer based test consisting of three parts, namely the psychometric section, the descriptive section and an aptitude section which includes objective-type questions on Verbal ability, Quantitative ability and  Data interpretation, General Awareness and Divergent and Convergent thinking.
