MICA Ahmedabad, India's premier management institute for Strategic Marketing and Communication, has opened applications for its 2022-24 batch of the flagship 2-year PGP Program (Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communication/Post-Graduate Diploma in Management).
MICA has simultaneously opened the applications for its Crafting Creative Communications (CCC), and the 4- year Fellow Program in Management (FPM). Applicants who wish to participate in the PGDM and PGDM-C admission process will have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the institute, known as MICAT.
MICAT is conducted twice a year, and the better of the two scores is considered as a student may choose to write both MICAT I and II exams. The entrance exam, MICAT-I, will be held on December 4, 2021, and MICAT- 2 on January 29, 2022. For the CCC and FPM programs, an online exam will be conducted in January and April 2022, respectively.
The application process opened in October, and the last date for online application for MICAT-1 exam for PGDM-C/PGDM is November 20, 2021. The application process for MICAT-2 will open on November 23, 2021, and the last date for online application is January 16, 2022.
The CCC program's last date for online application is January 16, 2022, and FPM-C applications will close on March 31, 2022.
Prof. Ruchi Tewari, Chair, Admissions, MICA, said, "The general feedback from the students is that MICAT challenges them in a very healthy manner where they go back feeling ''wholly'' tested. This year too, we have added some very interesting formats which require a blend of creative and analytical abilities to respond to the questions successfully."
The GE and PI processes for the PGDM-C/ PGDM program will be held in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai in March/April 2022.
About MICAT:
MICAT is a computer-based test consisting of three parts: the psychometric section, the descriptive section, and an aptitude section that includes objective-type questions on Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation, General Awareness, and Divergent Convergent thinking.
