AP ICET 2018 Exam: About

The ANDHRA PRADESH STATE COUNCIL OF HIGHER EDUCATION (APSCHE) has released all details about the state level university exam it conducts for all MBA (and MCA) courses. It is known as the AP ICET 2018 – Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test. The test will be conducted by the Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of APSCHE.

AP ICET 2018 Exam: Eligibility Criteria

Students who have completed their Degree Examination or pursuing Degree can apply this APSCHE ICET 2018 Exam. Based on ICET Score/ ICET Rank they will get the admissions in various colleges. Eligibility Conditions for the students appearing for the APSCHE ICET 2018 are given below:

1.    The candidates should be an Indian National and satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended
2.    The candidates must satisfy the rules of the concerned universities where they take admission
3.    Candidates should complete the Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in case of SC/ST reserved categories in the qualifying examination
4.    Degree of 3 years duration from any recognized University or its equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10th class level.
5.    The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB. 
6.    The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination can also be eligible to appear for AP ICET 2018.

AP ICET Exam 2018: Fees & Payment Details

The Candidates can pay their fee online as well as offline. The payment instructions are as follows:-

1.    Net Banking or Credit Card or Debit Card provided his / her Card is a VISA or MASTERCARD or MAESTRO type

Fee Amount + Processing Fee (INR 550+ INR 609) = INR 609

2.    By cash at any one of the APONLINE / TSONLINE centers. The list of APONLINE / TSONLINE centers is provided in the HOME page under the head PAYMENT CENTERS 

  • Choose the nearest APOnline centre for you
  • Take any one of the mandatory details to the APOnline centre:
    • Hall Ticket number of the Qualifying Examination 
    • Name of the Candidate (as per SSC) 
    • Father’s Name (as per SSC) 
    • Date of Birth.(as per SSC) 
    • Mobile number and alternate mobile number
  • Pay the amount INR 550 in cash and collect receipt for the Registration fee paid from the APONLINE / TSONLINE center containing a Payment Reference ID (Transaction Id)

3.    Please note that an additional fee of INR 2000 needs to be paid for late registration.

AP ICET 2018 Exam: Important Instructions

Please ensure that you upload your photo and signature as per the specifications goven by AP ICET 2018 conducting authority as below:

Photo: The photo should be a good quality passport size picture in .jpg or .jpeg of less than 50Kb

Signature: The signature must be done with a black pen on a white paper and scanned and saved as .jpg or .jpeg of less than 30Kb

Test Center: You can select primary and secondary test center districts with 3 and 2 preferences in each respectively.

AP ICET 2018 Hall Ticket

1.    The candidates can download the AP ICET hall ticket 2018 only after completing the registration form and successfully paying the registration fee
2.    The hall ticket will have the following details:

  • Name
  • Father Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Exam Centre Details
  • Exam Time and Session
  • Registration Number
  • Picture
  • Signature

3.    Please make sure you preserve the hall ticket to produce it at the time of test and later at the time of entry into the course
4.    Please note that the candidates will not be permitted into the exam hall without the AP ICET 2018 admit card and after the scheduled time on the date of entrance test
5.    The Hall ticket can be downloaded from the website www.sche.ap.gov.in/icet only. This is how the screen will appear.

AP ICET 2018 is an objective type test with multiple choice questions. If the Candidate gives more than one answer to any question, such answers will be ignored while awarding marks. The exam is designed to measure the candidates on their:

  • Systematical, Verbal and Mathematical Skills

AP ICET Exam 2018: Result & Counseling

API CET 2018 exam result will be announced on May 12th 2018 through online mode ONLY. After the result declaration for AP ICET 2018 exam the students will go through counseling. The students must admit counseling in the respective institution in order to get admission. The seats are allotted based on the rank of the students in the AP ICET exam 2018.
