ICFAI Business School's nine campuses provide its students access to Bloomberg and SAP Labs. The Bloomberg terminals are useful for analyzing live financial markets, helping students gain knowledge of global markets right in the classroom. Students are also encouraged to practice and get certified to gain insights into global financial markets and increase their campus placement opportunities. Over the years, we've seen many students benefit from these certificates, in securing the campus placements especially in the BFSI and consulting sectors.
The typical business operations of any large or mid-sized company require the use of a functional ERP like SAP. The nine IBS campuses provide students an opportunity to access a real SAP environment to understand the fundamentals of business operations in Finance, HR, and Inventory management. Using classroom notes and public company data, it's possible to create various financial and business operation scenarios to practice the SAP modules. The most popular Bloomberg experiment is the annual Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge, where students simulate and manage investing strategies to achieve the highest return on their portfolios. With this kind of training, it's not difficult to achieve above 95% placements for all students across the nine campuses. For the 2024 batch, IBS Hyderabad achieved an average CTC of 9.82 LPA. From the nine campuses, the highest international CTC is 41.4 LPA, and the highest national CTC is 22.0 LPA.
In addition, IBS offers students the opportunity to participate in a campus digital ambassador program, which provides a monthly stipend and allows them to apply digital marketing strategies while managing the campus's social media pages. Over the years we have observed that recruiters showed much interest in hiring the students who participated in these programs. All students, regardless of their management stream Financial, HR, Operations, or Marketing are able to participate in the Bloomberg and SAP programs.
IBSAT 2025, the Management Aptitude Test for admission to any of the nine IBS campuses, is scheduled for December 27th & 28th. This remote-proctored online test can be taken from the comfort of home. The syllabus and test pattern are very similar to other national-level management tests like CAT and XAT, with the added advantage of having no negative marks or sectional time limits. The test also offers scholarships worth Rs 2 Lakh to a total of 500 candidates, including IBSAT toppers, wards of IBS alumni, wards of defense personnel, and physically challenged candidates.
