The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official answer key for CMAT. Along with it, question papers and responses of the candidates are also available. The Common Management Admission Test was held on March 31. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the answer key at cmat.nta.nic.in.
However, since CMAT has been conducted in 2 shifts, the raw scores will be converted to percentile (NTA) scores. To calculate the percentile score NTA will first calculate the raw scores of the candidates using the marking scheme of the exam. Thereafter this raw score will be converted into percentile score. NTA score / percentile score is calculated using the formula below:
100 X {(No. of candidates appeared from your session with raw score equal to less than your score) ÷ (Total number of candidates appeared in your session)}
How to Download CMAT 2021 Answer Key?
Like all other aspects of the CMAT 2021 Exam, the Official Answer key and Question Paper has also been released online and made available via the exam portal. Candidates who are not familiar with the procedure to download the answer key can follow the simple step-by-step directions provided below to access and download the CMAT 2021 Answer Key online.
- Step 1: Visit official website i.e. cmat.nta.nic.in
- Step 2: Scroll Down and find Link for Answer Key and Question Paper Challenge
- Step 3: Click on Link as per the details available with you
- Step 4: Enter your Application No and Password or Date of Birth
- Step 5: Verify the details and submit it on the website
- Step 6: CMAT 2021 official answer key will be displayed on the screen
- Step 7: Download the answer key in PDF format and take printout for future reference
The official CMAT result is expected to be released one or two days after the deadline for submission of challenges against the answer key. Last year, the result was announced two days after the challenge submissions against the official answers keys were closed. The result is prepared on the basis of the final answer key, which is prepared after the evaluation of all the objections against the provisional answer key of CMAT.
The CMAT result will also have an all India rank of the candidates. In case scores are the same for more than one candidate, the ranking will be done on sectional scores considered in the order of: – quantitative techniques and data interpretation, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness. If the tie still remains then students having the same score shall be listed in ascending order as per their date of birth. If the tie still persists then, the same rank will be given to the candidates.
Challenge for Answer Key
The Last date to challenge the Answer key is today!
The payment of the processing fee may be made through, Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm upto April 5, 2021 (upto 11:50 PM). No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the subject experts. If found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final.
Procedure of Challenge for Answer Key
1. Please go to website https://cmat.nta.nic.in.
2. Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’.
3. Log in with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter Security Pin as displayed and Submit.
4. You will see Question IDs for CMAT – 2021 in sequential order
5. The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the Provisional Answer Key to be used by NTA.
6. If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the other columns by clicking the check box.
7. You may choose to upload supporting documents, in that case you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).
8. After clicking your desired option scroll down, ‘Save your Claim’ and move to next screen.
9. You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged.
10. Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’.
11. Select Mode of Payment and Pay a non-refundable processing fee @ ₹ 1000/- for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.
The challenges made by the CMAT 2021 candidates will be verified by the subject experts. If found
correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly, and the revised final answer key will be prepared. The CMAT 2021 candidates must note that no individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the experts after the challenge will be final.
The result date for CMAT 2021 will be intimated later through the CMAT website.
