Starting from the academic session of 2024, Delhi University has introduced a new entrance exam called the Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET), replacing the previous Delhi University Joint Admission Test (DU JAT). This change applies to both undergraduate and postgraduate programs at Delhi University.
The new entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). CUET is computer-based, with the exam mostly comprising multiple-choice-questions (MCQ) that determine admission into various undergraduate programs offered by both Central and State universities. This means that students aspiring to pursue courses like BBE, BMS, and BBA (FIA) at Delhi University will now be evaluated through CUET.
In the midst, curiosity and concern about eligibility criteria and changes in the syllabus are real for students, especially those who were preparing for the DU JAT. From dates to exam patterns, many things have changed, so let’s discuss each of them.
