NMAT Cutoff Criteria

While determining NMAT cutoff scores/percentile, some of the factors which influence this decision are:

1. Number of candidates registered for the test.

2. Number of candidates appeared for the test.

3. Total seats available in colleges accepting NMAT scores.

4. Reservation criteria.

5. Level of difficulty of NMAT test.

6. Previous Year cutoff

NMAT-Best Score

Unlike other management entrance exams, NMAT offers candidates three chances within a year to improve their scores. Candidates are, therefore, advised to book their slots as early as possible to make use of this opportunity and improve their scores, if need be.

NMAT-Deciding Factor

All colleges that accept NMAT scores have their own criteria to give admission to candidates. They conduct multiple rounds before preparing their final admission lists. Besides the NMAT score, colleges conduct the following rounds too:

  • Group Discussion (GD)
  • Written Ability Test (WAT)
  • Personal Interview (PI)

Still, maximum weightage of around 70% is allocated to the candidate’s NMAT scores. Therefore, it is important for candidates to score well in the test.
