NMIMS NPAT 2024: Application Form

The registration portal for the NPAT 2024 exam was first opened on December 6, 2023. Luckily you still have time to apply for the entrance exam because it will stay live by May 20, 2024. To apply, visit the official NMIMS website, nmimsnpat.in. If you've completed Class 12, you're eligible to participate in the NMIMS NPAT 2024 exam. Make sure to complete your online application before the 2024 deadline.

NMIMS NPAT, or National Test for Programs After Twelfth, is a special test organized by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). The programs offered through NPAT cover a range of subjects such as commerce, economics, international studies, branding and advertising, and liberal arts and management.

If you have finished Class 12 or an equivalent exam from CBSE/ICSE or any International Baccalaureate (IB) board, you can apply for NPAT. This exam is the official way to get into undergraduate degree programs at NMIMS. Over 80,000 students take the NPAT exam every year to join courses after completing their 12th grade.

Candidates interested in NMIMS NPAT 2024 and wishing to appear for the examinations are required to carefully consider the below-mentioned dates - 

To be eligible for NMIMS NPAT 2024, you need to meet certain criteria.

1. Your age should be between 17 and 25 years.

2. You must have scored at least 50% marks in your class 10+2 exams from a recognized board.

3. It's necessary to have studied Mathematics or Statistics in your class 12 exam or an equivalent examination.

4. If you passed your 10+2 or equivalent exams from a recognized board, you should have a minimum of 50% marks and Math/Statistics as compulsory subjects.

5. Students who completed their 10+2 or equivalent exams through open or distance learning (ODL) are also eligible to apply.

You can apply to NMIMS NPAT 2024 by visiting the NMIMS website, nmimsnpat.in. The application form is accessible from December 6, 2023. Make sure to complete the application process before May 20, 2024:

To register for the exam, use the step-by-step process mentioned below - 

1. Go to the NMIMS NPAT website

2. Click the Register button at the top of the page

3. Enter your name, date of birth, and other required details

4. Select your test category, school, program, and preferences

5. Pay the application form fee

6. Select your test center, and date, and submit your application. 

Login details will be sent via email after registration. You can use these to access the application form. 

During the NMIMS NPAT registration process, you are required to submit a few basic documents which are as follows -

• Mobile number and Email ID

• Aadhaar card

• Class 10th mark sheet

• Class 12th mark sheet

• Certificate of 10th or date of birth proof

• Age proof (Aadhar card, voter ID, or driving license)

• Passport-sized photograph

Similarly, if any additional documents have been asked to provide candidates with an exclusive benefit, present them if you can.  

NMIMS, or Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, has 17 special schools. These schools provide various courses, including undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs. It's worth noting that the fees at NMIMS may go up if you decide to enroll in multiple schools. An additional 1000 will be charged if you apply for multiple schools.  

NMIMS NPAT 2024 application fee can be paid through online mode only. Paid using a Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. Bank charges may be applicable.

To attend the NMIMS NPAT 2024 exam, you'll need an admit card. You can get it by downloading it from the official NPAT website, www.npat.in. The admit card will be accessible from December 2023 to May 2024. To get it, just follow these simple steps. 

Steps to download the NMIMS NPAT 2024 admit card:

1. Go to the official website.

2. Click on the ‘Login’ link.

3. Enter your ID and Password.

4. Your Admit Card will be displayed on your computer screen.

5. Save it on your system.

6. Take its printout on an A4 size sheet. Several copies can be saved for future reference.

As of November 9, 2023, the NMIMS NPAT 2024 exam will be held in various cities, including Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra/Mathura, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Meerut, Varanasi, Kolkata, and Delhi.

The NMIMS NPAT is a national-level exam that takes place online in 49 different cities. Candidates can schedule their exam slots using the login portal on the official website (nmimsnpat.in). It's important to note that the last date to complete the NPAT exam schedule is May 20, 2024.

Paper 1 of the NMIMS NPAT 2024 examination is common for all candidates, whereas paper 2 is only for B.Des Program.

Paper 1 of the NPAT Exam Syllabus consists of three sections: 

• Quantitative and Numerical Ability, 

• Reasoning & General Intelligence, 

• Proficiency in the English Language.

According to the NPAT exam pattern 2024, the difficulty level of the exam is as per the SAT exam.

Talking about the NPAT Exam Marking Scheme, one mark will be awarded for each correct answer, and there is no negative marking in the exam.

NPAT exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 (common for all courses) and Paper 2 (only for the design course). The table below gives you an overview of all the things coming in the NPAT 2024 exam. 

The results for NMIMS NPAT 2024 are officially published on the NMIMS NPAT website. This year, the results are expected to be announced in July 2024. To access their results, candidates are required to log in to the website using their registered NMIMS NPAT ID and password.

Selection happens on a merit-list basis. The university prepares the merit lists based on the scores achieved by the candidates. Once a candidate's name appears in any of these merit lists, they will be invited for counseling sessions conducted by the University.

NMIMS NPAT 2024 counseling is an important step for those aspiring to join the esteemed campuses of NMIMS. The counseling sessions for these campuses are scheduled to take place online from April 2024. Additionally, for campuses, counseling will be conducted from June 2024.

Eligible candidates, selected based on their academic performance, will be invited to participate in the counseling process. The counseling process typically comprises three rounds. After the first round, if there are still vacant seats, a new merit list will be created, providing additional opportunities for deserving candidates.

Once candidates successfully navigate the counseling process and have their merit list announced, they must proceed to pay the selection procedure fees. This step is essential for confirming their admission to NMIMS.

Unlike some educational institutions, NMIMS does not provide reservations based on caste, religious minority, or economic background. However, the university has a compassionate approach by offering reservations for specific categories. 

Widows, wards, and Kashmiri migrants of armed forces personnel who have been either killed or disabled in action or during peace time are eligible for these reservations. 

It's important to note that candidates falling under these categories must still meet the specified cut-offs and eligibility criteria for the program they are applying to.

If you're gearing up for the NMIMS NPAT 2024 exam, here are some important guidelines to keep in mind:

1. Don't forget to bring a valid ID proof, such as a voter ID, passport, driving license, or Aadhar card, along with your admit card.

2. It's advisable to reach the test center at least 30 minutes before the exam begins.

3. Remember not to cover your webcam until the exam is finished. 

4. No additional time will be given. Be prepared to answer 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) within a time frame of 100 minutes.
