1. Summer Internship Project
When PGDM students reach the end of their first year, the Summer Internship Project, or SIP, becomes a must-attend 3-credit course. This presents an opportunity for them to put the theoretical knowledge they have gained in the classroom to use to deliver real business results. Under the guidance of the SDMIMD faculty and corporate mentors, the SIP lets students gain invaluable hands-on experience.

2. Live Projects
Students are able to get hands-on experience with live projects in addition to Summer Internship Projects, when pursuing the PGDM at SDMIMD. The curriculum includes live projects, giving them a chance to be involved in industry research initiatives, socially relevant business problems, and marketing, finance, operations, or HR related endeavours. This experience is highly practical, and supported by mentorship from the faculty and experts in the field. Coming from a social responsibility perspective, live projects help to turn students into responsible, empathetic managers.
