Advanced Finance Lab equipped with Bloomberg Terminals inaugurated in IIM Rohtak

IIM Rohtak took another major step towards its mission to provide quality education and research facilities on Tuesday, when the institute inaugurated its Finance Laboratory. With this, IIM Rohtak joined the elite list of very few colleges having Bloomberg terminals. The advanced lab is equipped with 12 Bloomberg terminals.
The chief guest of the ceremony, Ms. Swati Dakalia, Senior President at Yes Bank, cut the ribbon and officially started the laboratory. The director of the institute Dr. AtanuRakshit, faculties and members of the finance club of the college “FI” were also present.

Dr. ReenaKohli, a professor of Finance, said that “These terminals are acquired from the financial data vendor Bloomberg L. P. that enables professionals in finance and other industries to access the Bloomberg Professional service through which users can monitor and analyze real-time financial market data and place trades on the electronic trading platform.

The system also provides news, price quotes, and messaging across its proprietary secure network”.
