A book titled "Potential for Entrepreneurial Activities in the Rural Area of Delhi: Vice Chancellor" was released on 11th October, 2013 at the National Museum Auditorium by Dr D. K. Bandyopadhyay, Vice Chancellor, GGSIPU. 

 

This book is based on research conducted by the Lal BahadurShastri Research Centre for Public Policy and Social Change. Shri Anil Shastri, Former Union Minister and Holding Trustee, LBSNMT presided over the function. 

 

The book has been authored by Dr. G.L. Sharma, Dr. P Balamurugan and Sandeep Kumar.

 

The function began with an engaging speech by Dr G.L.Sharma, in which he as the author shared with the audience, the research behind the book and took them through the development of the book. He emphasised the importance that the topic holds and its relevance to society as a whole.

 

Shri Anil Shastri gave the welcome address followed by an enlightening speech by Sunil Shastri, under whose directorship a polytechnic college is being established on the outskirts of Delhi.

 

Dr D. K. Bandyopadhyay emphasised on the aptness of the book and admired the research which has gone into it.

 

The function was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr.P.K.Biswas, Director, LBSIM.
