Godrej Industries Limited and Associate Companies (GILAC) is back with the fourth edition of Godrej LOUD (Live Out Ur Dream) 2015, a platform to help young and talented India realise personal dreams, which had been shelved due to career or sponsorship constraints.
Launched in 2012, LOUD is Godrej’s alternative to hiring through a standard summer process on campus. Winners of LOUD get sponsorship and mentoring support from Godrej and a pre placement summer offer.
Team Godrej LOUD will visit 12 campuses (NITIE Mumbai; XIM Bhubaneswar; XLRI Jamshedpur; IIM Lucknow; SP Jain, Mumbai; SIBM Pune; IIM Kozhikode; MDI Gurgaon; IIFT Delhi; FMS Delhi; IRMA and IIM Ahmedabad) to find passionate first year students.
Ms. Nisaba Godrej, Executive Director, Godrej Consumer Products Limited said, "Godrej LOUD is our way of finding passionate young leaders. We believe that if someone is really passionate about something, even if it has nothing to do with what we do, it is likely they will bring that drive with them to Godrej."

This year, we are also introducing a LOUD masterclass with Prof. Henry Jenkins, a globally renowned media scholar.”
Godrej LOUD 2015 was launched in NITIE, Mumbai on July 1, 2015. Sunil Kataria, Business Head, India and SAARC, Godrej Consumer Products Limited; Parmesh Shahani, Head, Godrej India Culture Lab and Prof. Henry Jenkins, renowned media scholar, started the activation on campus.
Last year, the initiative saw a tremendous response with over 1600 applications from across 12 campuses. 14 finalists were shortlisted to share their dreams at the Godrej Headquarters in Mumbai and 7 dreamers got the opportunity to live out their dreams.
Akhil Kalia, one of our LOUD winners from last year, visited the Terra-di-Motori in Italy and sketched automobiles in the factory museums of manufacturers like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Pagani and Maserati. Kurmapu Keerthi Sindhuri, another winner from LOUD 2014, installed a hygienic piping system in a temple to recover Abhishekamofferings and distribute them among the poor.
