The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad, is glad to announce the organization of a national-level Capacity Building Programme for the Young Social Sciences Faculty on Entrepreneurship and Startups, scheduled from 9th to 20th June 2025. This prestigious initiative is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
The event will feature eminent resource persons from various renowned Central and State Universities, who will lead insightful sessions on entrepreneurship education, the startup ecosystem, innovation-led research, and academic mentoring. The programme is tailored for young faculty members from disciplines such as management, sociology, economics, political science, anthropology, psychology, and related fields.
Through a combination of expert lectures, case studies, and interactive discussions, the programme aims to empower participants to integrate entrepreneurial thinking into their teaching, research, and institutional initiatives. By the end of the two-week course, faculty will be equipped to foster innovation, mentor students in startup ventures, and drive socially relevant academic contributions in the entrepreneurship domain.
The programme is being organized at the Institute of Public Enterprise, Osmania University Campus under the leadership of Prof. Sreenivasa Murthy, Director, IPE, with the active support of Prof. Lakshmi Kumari, Dean – Research, and Prof. Srikanth, Dean – Academics. The capacity building programme is being coordinated by Dr. P. V. Vijay Kumar Reddy, CBP-Director & Associate Professor, IPE, and Dr. D. Vasanthi, CBP Co-Director & Assistant Professor, IPE.
