The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta organized the second phase of the Covid -19 vaccination drive on campus today for its students, staff and faculty along with their family members. A total of 393 persons were vaccinated at the camp with the first and second dose of Covishield and Covaxin vaccines.
The day-long vaccination camp was organized in partnership with Pulse Diagnostics, with due permission from the Chief Medical Officer of Health, South 24 Parganas , Government of West Bengal. The vaccination doses were administered at the New Academic Block (NAB) Building/ Amphitheatre at the Joka premises.
The institute had launched the first phase of the vaccination drive on 7th June 2021 where 296 persons including faculty members, officers, staff and their family members along with contractual employees were vaccinated.
Present at the camp, Prof Manish Thakur, Dean (New initiatives and External relations), IIM Calcutta said, “We are committed to the health and safety of all our community members. This vaccination drive is a demonstration of our resolve to create a safe environment for one and all.”
