IIM Kashipur has successfully completed the Summer Placements season for the first batch of the MBA Analytics, a two-year full-time residential program that aims to prepare managers and future leaders who will shape the increasingly technology-oriented and data-driven world. The inaugural batch of the MBA Analytics program has seen an overwhelming response from the Industry, with the top 25% of the students receiving offers with an average stipend of INR 1,58,200 while the highest stipend stood at INR 3,15,000.
A batch of 59 students has received 64 internship offers from leading organizations in Automotive, Aviation, Consulting, E-Commerce, Ed-Tech, Fintech, IT, FMCG, Manufacturing, Media, Retail Steel. Recruiters have shown great faith in the Institute, resulting in 100% summer placements. Renowned names such as ICICI Bank, Fareye, Jio Creative Labs, NeenOpal, OfBusiness, Puma, Reserve Bank of India, Tata Steel BSL, Vivriti Capital participated enthusiastically in the placement season.
Commenting on the occasion, the Chairperson of Placements at IIM Kashipur, Prof. Venkataraghavan K, said, "We are thankful to all the companies for supporting the new program at IIM Kashipur. We had an excellent inaugural placement season for MBA (Analytics) and look forward to continuing our mutually rewarding association with the Industry in placements as well as other areas of engagement".
The MBA (Analytics) batch fosters gender diversity with 54% female students and educational backgrounds varying from Arts, Architecture, Commerce, and Science. The students exude innovation and competitiveness, with 75% of the batch coming with an average work experience of 22 months.
