Indian Institute of Management Raipur completed its 1st E-learning Executive Certificate Program in association with Nulearn on 25th August 2019. The institute certified 41 executive students from the very first batch of “Executive Certificate Program in Leadership and Change Management “. Executive students enrolled for the program were from different sectors & industries from pan India, like Hewlett and Packard Enterprise, Volkswagen IT Services, Mahindra & Mahindra ltd., Vodafone Idea ltd, ABB, Capgemini, LEA Associates South Asia Pvt ltd., Torrent Power ltd, Xavier’s Institute of Management & Research, UNICEF, Panasonic India Pvt. Ltd. As a part of this program two days campus visit was organized on 24th & 25th August. During the visit students have done their project presentation and got the opportunity of classroom teaching experience conducted by program director Dr Anubha Dadhich at IIM Raipur campus.
On second day of the visit, Certificate distribution ceremony was conducted. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Director, IIM Raipur and Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Chairman Executive Education and Consultancy & Dean Academics, IIM Raipur. Prof. Sanjeev Parashar addressed the students by citing the example from Mahabharata about Yudhistara’s Leadership style. He showed Mahabharata from a different lens and explained the ramifications of the laid-back attitude of a leader. Prof. Bharat Bhasker enlightened the students on role of leaders in organizational transformation. Prof. Bhaskar mentioned that “a Manager is the one who plug and plays with existing rules. Leader is the one who does change and a change when it is only required. Therefore, it is important for all of you, not only to learn leadership lessons from our school but also execute when it is the correct time to push the scheme of things beyond boundaries.”. During the ceremony students of Executive Certificate Program in Leadership and Change Management have received their certificates from Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Director, IIM Raipur. The exuberance among the students of the graduating batch was a treat for the eyes.
