IIM Rohtak has announced the revised date for IPM Aptitude Test 2020 on 21st May 2020. The test will be conducted via Internet Based Assessment where applicants will have the convenience to give the entrance exam from their home location. Earlier, due to the COVID-19 situation, the institute had extended the last date to register for entrance exam to 04th May 2020.
Exam will be conducted using machine learning technology (capturing both audio and video movements) along with human proctoring to monitor each and every candidate remotely. All the applicants will have an opportunity to simulate an online proctored (OP) test experience through three mock tests mock test scheduled on 15th, 17th and 19th May 2020. The detailed communication on policies and procedures, computer system requirements, and other requirements have been shared with all the applicants.
“In line with views of Government of India, IIM Rohtak too wishes to empower students, parents, and faculty in positively dealing with COVID-19 by leveraging on online teaching-learning resources. We are committed to provide best possible online testing platform in conjunction with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. We hope that the IIM Rohtak and TCS collaboration becomes a benchmark for conducting online examinations. We will be holding number of mock tests for aspirants to familiarize themselves with the platform and iron-out any possible glitches.” said, Prof. Dheeraj Sharma, Director IIM Rohtak. He further said, “We are committed towards making appropriate arrangements for those candidates who do not have required technical infrastructure at a suitable time. I hope this is an excellent beginning towards embracing technology and offering higher education in a blended education format during COVID crisis. This is collaborative effort between IIM Rohtak, TCS, and higher education aspirants to show the world that Indian educational institutions will find and leverage on opportunities in crisis.”
