IIM Rohtak marks watershed event for Indian Film Industry
“Baccha kabil bano, kabil... kamiyabi to jhak maar kar peeche bhagegi.” Remember how a dialogue swayed the hearts of most of us by showcasing the cynical, the soulful and even the heart-rending events of ordinary life! We are a country that celebrates cinema like a religion. The Indian media and entertainment market is poised to grow at a rate of 13.9 per cent, a rate that is almost double of that of the global M&E industry.
When art collaborates with adroit business modeling, the impact is definitely going to be instrumental. Towards this end, the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak is organizing the inaugural Film Summit on 31st July 2016. It is also the first of its kind to be held in any B-School in India.
