Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies (RIMS), an institution under the aegis of MSR Foundation, inaugurated the orientation session for the second new batch of PGPM students on 6th August 2018. The orientation will be conducted for a week with industry stalwarts addressing the students on the current trends which will culminate in an out bound training. Program Head Dr. Radha.R welcomed the gathering and also gave an insight in to the PGPM program.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Ajith Nair, Assistant Manager Operations, 4TIGO Networks Pvt. Ltd., an alumni of PGPM shared both his academic and professional experiences and urged the students to give utmost importance to discipline and rigour to succeed in life and went on to explain how RIMS had shaped his personality.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. B.K.Gupta, Chief Mentor and Social Scientist, Giant Step captivated the audience by his motivational speech. Prof. Chowdari Prasad, Dean RIMS addressed the students and reiterated the importance of discipline in academics. The Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and the Dean released the new handbook and the program ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Radha.R.
