Kickstart'18: Partage d'expérience held at XIMB

X-Seed, the idea and initiative cell of XIMB organized "Kickstart'18: Partage d'expérience" on 15 July 2018. This drive was aimed at inspiring the future entrepreneurs to shape their ideas into successful start-ups and to make the students of XIMB aware of the opportunities as well as the challenges faced in Entrepreneurship. The speakers for the occasion were Mr. Vikram Duggal (MD, Ekcle Advisory Services), Mr. Praveen Gupta (MD, Premas LifeSciences), and Mr. Bimal Rath (Founder& MD, Think Talent Services).

Mr. Praveen Gupta was the first speaker of the day. He gave insights about the key elements, which makes an entrepreneur successful and shared with the students why he aspired to be one. Talking about his company, he focused on the scope and challenges in the Tech Start-up and the road ahead for Start-up world. 

XIMB

The next speaker was Mr. Vikram Duggal. He focused his talk on how to sell one’s idea to investors. On the topic of Investors and Investments, he shared his views on an investor's mindset and different types of investments. He concluded his speech by advising the students on the importance of teamwork.

The third speaker of the day, Mr. Bimal Rath, started with an interactive discussion on understanding the ecosystem. He urged the students on the importance of prior work experience and the need of choosing the right funding partner. He also talked about his evolution from being an investor at his brother’s firm to being a founder and MD of his own firm.

The speeches were followed by an interactive question, answer session, and concluded with a vote of thanks, given by Mr. Sailav Panda, the coordinator of X-Seed.
