MICA BAGGED SECOND POSITION AT TITAN ELEVATE

Second-year students of MICA, Ahmedabad, have emerged as 1st runners-up of the national case competition Titan Elevate 8.0 organized by the Titan Company Ltd. Students of MICA, Prerna Lall and Rhea Aggarwal from 'Team Powerpuff Titans' won Rs. 75,000 and a preplacement interview opportunity from Titan Elevate 8.0 competition on the theme 'Unearth Titan's X-Factor' to help it become the company of choice, especially for GEN Z.

Titan Elevate is an annual business case study challenge conducted in premier B-schools across the country that allows students to work on real-life business challenges. Students of MICA competed with teams from other B-schools, including MDI, NMIMS, IIFT, and IIM Shillong, in the powerpacked national finale.

Speaking about the competition, Prerna and Rhea said, "This competition was unique as it was not just about the customer's point of view but making the company a choice for all, customers, employees, and every involved stakeholder. As a result, we could put all the concepts learned at MICA to practice. To understand our target customers, we surveyed 50 people, both Gen Z & Millennials across five cities (Metros, Tier 1 & 2), and studied millennials to understand their distinction from Gen Z.”

On a concluding note, Prerna and Rhea said, "This competition was truly an enriching experience that pushed us to think beyond our usual way. We think what worked for us was reading the brief multiple times, understanding each other's strengths and weaknesses, discussing and brainstorming a lot."
