Ahmedabad: MICA, Ahmedabad, India's premier B-school for Strategic Marketing and Communications, recently hosted its 11th edition of TEDx talk on the theme 'Map the Gap.'

This year, the independently organized event, licensed by TED, hosted five speakers from all walks of life who shared their experiences and understanding of overcoming unconventional problems with unconventional
approaches.

The speakers included Captain Yashika Hatwal Tyagi, Kargil War Veteran, Mr. Vikram Chandra, Journalist & Founder, Editorji, Ms. Tanvi Girotra – Founder, Becoming I Foundation, Ms. Palki Sharma Upadhyay –
Executive Editor, WION and Manavendra Singh Gohil – Crown Prince of Rajpipla, Gujarat & first openly Gay prince.

Delving more on the theme, the TEDxMICA team said, "Through the theme 'Map the Gap,' we wanted to let the world know that no gap is uncrossable and no destination is unreachable. Map the Gap is a tale that speaks to
each one of us because it touches upon our stories, ideas, and journeys."

Speaking about stories and news, Mr. Chandra said, "The current problem with digital video news is that you start getting information only from an ideological echo chamber. Digital video news and information today is like
cassettes and CDs, you can find the story that you want, but you got to go looking for it."

Ms. Palki Sharma Upadhyay said, "Think of the story you want to tell a few decades from now and start writing it from today because the world today is a grand storytelling competition."
