MICA, Ahmedabad, India’s premier institute for Strategic Marketing and Communications, recorded 100% placement and an increase of 42% in the average package since 2021 for the 28th batch of its flagship PGDM and PGDM-Communications program. The institute also recorded a 12% increase in its median CTC, from 17 lakhs per annum last year to 19 lakhs per annum this year.
While the average CTC went up from 14 lakhs in 2021 to 20 lakh this year, the average CTC of the top 50% of the students this year was 23.82 lakhs. The placement process this year also witnessed a steep increase in new recruiters. A total of 77 companies partnered with MICA of which 56% were new recruiters. The institute has also seen increased pre-placement offers (PPOs) through summer placements and corporate competitions. A total of 31 students bagged the PPOs.

SECTORIAL OVERVIEW: The highest number of offers was made by the Analytics, Banking and Consulting sector at 39 offers followed by a mix of companies at 32 offers, IT sector at 31 offers and 30 offers from the FMCG sector.
