Business Analytics Institute, headquartered in France conducted its Winter School at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), Mysuru from 1 to 10 Feb 2023 at SDMIMD campus. The programme was attended by company executives and students selected from various European Universities. Besides students from Belgium, Switzerland, France and Ukraine, ten Indian Students from SDMIMD were selected to attend the programme. The programme centred on the theme of “AI for Good”, entailed discussions on Ethical AI, AI for Social Good and a workshop on Machine Learning Tools. As part of this programme, the participants visited Dharmasthala and interacted with Dr. D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari about Rural Development, Micro Finance, and Health Care Programmes of SDM Trust. The participants of the programme developed use-cases for leveraging AI for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Healthcare, Education and Rural Development. The resource persons for the programme included Dr. Lee Schlenker and Prof. Davy Cielen from Business Analytics Institute, Prof. Christian Hitz from Zurich University and Prof. Mohamed Minhaj from SDMIMD, Mysuru.
