X-SEED, The Entrepreneurship Cell of XIMB invites you to “Thinking Social”, a series of “Tata Social Enterprise Challenge” byTata Trust and IIM, Kolkata which is being organized by GSIS, a PNV foundation, and Ekutir initiative, MyCityLinks and XSEED, The Entrepreneurship Cell of XIMB on 18th February 2017 at XIM, Bhubaneswar between 9 AM to 5 PM.
This one-day event will host many entrepreneurs/students from the state who shall be illuminated with inspiring talks from 6 successful and inspirational entrepreneurs from the state and beyond who will speak on social entrepreneurship and its impact on the society. Odisha is amongst the most backward states, but with the underlying potential to have an accelerated growth. PNV Foundation and Ekutir, through their joint initiative GSIS (Glocal Social Impact Summit) intend to tap this potential by organizing a series of such social impact programs that will trigger enhanced self-employment and employment generation.
The conference will be emphasizing upon the various other important aspects such as:
- Agriculture
- Climate Change
- Financial Inclusion
- Rural Development
- Women Empowerment
The Tata Social Enterprise is the first such event in a series of planned events that shall culminate in a Global summit of social entrepreneurs, innovators and investors in Bhubaneswar.
