XLRI-Xavier School of Management, the premier B School in India is all set to host the 42nd edition of MAXI FAIR, one of the biggest and most respected marketing events in the B-school circuit on the 30th and 31st of January, 2021. The annual disguised Market and Consumer Behaviour Research Fair conducted by the Marketing Association of XLRI or MAXI.
MAXI FAIR is one of Jamshedpur's biggest events, and for the first time, it has gone virtual, now looks forward to hosting the rest of India. The two-day marketing extravaganza continues to carry on the legacy and promises to build on the innovations it has introduced over the years.

Conceptualized by XLRI faculty Dr. Sharad Sarin in 1979, MAXI Fair allows students to learn the fundamentals of market research hands-on and enables them to come up with insights. With a mission to popularise the discipline of marketing at the institution; the event will witness students conducting research in disguise for various firms to study trends in market and consumer behavior.
42nd Maxi Fair the two-day flagship marketing fair has Dance Mania, Fashion Show, Games, Quiz, and more.
On Day-1, First up is Dance Mania for children, where no stage fright can stop them from showcasing their talent, there will be Masterchef to show off cooking skills. Next, for Jamshedpur's confident males and females, the flagship event fashion shows Ms. and Mrs. Jamshedpur.
On Day-2, MAXI Fair's long-standing vision is to bring together families through the spirit of the fair. This year given the Covid disruption, it’s been decided to cherish the small moments of togetherness that we share within our families through the most-loved event of Maxi fair-- Jamshedpur's Favourite Family. Finally, there will be two new events planned out- Cricket Mania and Photography. Capture the hidden gems of Jamshedpur with your camera or pit your wits against raging cricket fans.
Registered Participants can also participate in a fun-filled celebrity night with DJ Waale Babu famous Aastha Gill. Groove and chill from the comfort of your home with Aastha Gill in an interactive live concert at 6 pm on 31st January.
