Classroom learning is a blend of case-studies, guest lectures from industry stalwarts, workshops, presentations. The faculty includes knowledgeable and experienced academicians who impart value-based learning relevant to current industry practices. The purpose is to groom and nurture students critical and analytical skills. SDMIMD faculty members also provide guest lectures at other leading academic and training institutes including IIMs. The Institute has a stellar placement record and International collaboration with foreign Universities. Several students club activities are organized to address various issues and to grasp learning easier and fun through Contests, Quizzes, Inter-college events and Guest lectures.
The Finnacle club, as the name suggests relates to the Finance domain enables students to get practical exposure and updated with Financial jargons.
Mporia represents the marketing club that has been established to disseminate knowledge based on current trends in the industry. The club also organize Intra college marketing event MARK C”-DIEM which gives an opportunity to display the marketing skills essential for a successful marketing career.
HunaR is the HR club established in 2012 to enhance HR professional skills. Various challenges and issues are addressed to give a real-life scenario of the HR world. These activities serve as the backbone for the institute’s initiatives.
The Institute has a wide network of alumni. Every year several alumni guest lectures are organized to shed light based on their personal experiences and on the present scenario of the industry. These guest speakers usually have a key topic that the whole speech revolves around. It provides an excellent opportunity for the students to get a glimpse of real-life challenges and ways to address the same.
