Comparison with other institutes
For an institute of IIM Indore’s standing, the fees is not as high as some of the other institutes. IIM Indore can be accessed by students of all strata of the society, and educational loans as well as need based financial assistance can also be provided to meritorious students who are short of resources. In comparison, IIM Ahmedabad charges close to Rs 21 lakhs for its two year Post Graduate Programme in Management. IIM Bengaluru charges around 19.50 lakhs and IIM Kolkata charges around 19 lakhs for the same course. Private institutes such as MDI Gurugram (around 18.86 lakhs), SIBM, Pune (around 18.25 lakhs) and XLRI Jamshedpur (around 17.95 lakhs) are more expensive than IIM Indore.
IIM Indore Assistance
IIM Indore provides Need Based Assistance to deserving students who cannot afford the fees. A candidate whose gross family income is less than Rs 9 lakhs in the previous financial year, and who has availed of a bank education loan for the course is eligible to receive assistance from the institute. Other such assistance programmes offered by the institute can be availed of by the students.
