The six-day long Management capacity enhancement programme for administrators under TEQIP-II successfully concluded on February 7, 2015. 27 academic administrators & Librarians attended the programmefrom 17Engineering institutes from across five states, namely, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal and Tripura.
The topics covered in this six days MCEP were - Accreditation and Washington Accord, Communication and Behavioral skill , General Financial Rule 2005, Building effective team, Budgeting and control, Financial decision Making, Contracts Management, ICT Managing paperless office, New Age Library, Time Management & Priority Settings, Managing Academic Resources, Legal Aspects in Academic Environment and Networking with the industry Managing Human Resource.
The participants who have been working through the week on assigned hands-on projects on mission and vision, financial management issues in educational institutions, ERP and paperless office, legal isues in educational institutions and new age library which were very well appreciated.

Prof. S.K.Mitra (Program Director), in his interaction with all the participants during the valedictory function, urged that participants to try to implement all the tools, techniques and learnings of the programme in their respective institutionsand also share them with other colleagues. He emphasized that each one of us should strive to turn visionary and develop our leadership potential to transform our institutions into world classcenters for learning.TEQIP-II aims attransformingmembers into good managers and leaders through these MCEPs.
Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Program Coordinator TEQIP-II delivered the valedictory address of the session and shared various perspectives of Leadership styles especially in Educational Institutions. Prof. K.K. Ray (Program Director) proposed the vote of thanks.He said that although individually we may not be able to do anything, but collectively we can make the difference. Even if one person carries the positive energy, others get enthused.
All the participants expressed their deep sense of satisfaction and feeling of fulfillment on their great learning from the various topics of MCEP V and their action plans to implement of the objectives set forth under TEQIP.
