IIM Jammu was established in 2016 and offers a two-year, full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) which leads to Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. A new course in Fellow Programme in Management will be started in the academic session 2019-21. IIM Jammu provides quality management education and has strong corporate and international collaborations.

The IIM Jammu 2019 admission criteria for PGP admissions consists of following stages:
- CAT 2018 Score
- Personal Appearance (PA) Round consisting of WAT and PI
- IIM Jammu Final Merit 2019
IIM Jammu Admission Criteria 2019: CAT 2018
- Students must write CAT 2018 exam on 25th November 2018
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on the CAT 2018 cutoff percentile
- IIM Jammu will consider CAT 2018 overall cutoff percentile and sectional cutoff percentile

IIM Jammu Admission Criteria 2019: Personal Appearance (PA)
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the PA process by the IIM Jammu Admission Committee
- IIM Jammu follows the Common Admission Process (CAP 2019 Process) along with IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy, and IIM Udaipur
- The PA process as part of IIM Jammu admission criteria consists of two rounds – WAT (Writing Ability Test) and PI (Personal Interview)
- IIM Ranchi will administer the CAP 2019 process
- WAT – Candidates will have to write an essay on a given topic
- PI – Candidates will be interviewed by a panel of judges
IIM Jammu Admission Criteria 2019: Final Merit List 2019
The Final Merit List for IIM Jammu 2019 admissions is calculated based on:
CAT 2018 Score + PA Score + Profile + Reservations
- CAT 2018 Score = 0.4* Absolute CAT 2018 Percentile
- Personal Appearance (PA) = 30 Marks
- PA = WAT (10 marks) + PI (20 marks)
- Profile = 30 Marks
- Profile = Academic Profile (15 marks) + Work Experience (5 marks) + Diversity (10 marks)

IIM Jammu Admission Criteria 2019: Offer Acceptance
- Candidate shortlisted for IIM Jammu Admission 2019 must accept the offer within the stipulated date
- Candidates must send a confirmation along with an Offer Acceptance amount of INR 50000
- In case a candidate withdraws his/her name from the IIM Jammu 2019 admission offer before the withdrawal date, the Offer Acceptance Amount will be refunded after deducting a processing fee of INR 1000
- In case a candidate applies for withdrawal after the date specified, no refund will be issued
- No refund of Offer Acceptance amount & Term Fee will be issued if a candidate withdraws after completing the registration formalities
- The Offer Acceptance Amount for the registered candidates will be adjusted against Term I Fee.
