We are elated and proud to announce that Team Edge-Runners, comprising 3 second-year MICA students, Aviral Agarwal, Mansi Mathur, and Sakshi Bansal, have been declared as National Winners in Samsung E.D.G.E 8.0, one of India's most prestigious B-School Competitions.
The theme of the competition was “LEVERAGING AI FOR CUSTOMER CENTRICITY, EXPERIENCE, AND PERSONALISATION,” and the winning team won Rs. 4,50,000 Cash Prizes, Samsung Flagship Smartphones, and Pre-Placement Opportunities (PPOs).
The competition was open to students from some of the top B-Schools PAN India, B-Tech students from the top IITs, and Product Design students from top design schools. There were 9 teams, including IIM A, IIM B, IIM C, IIM L, NMIMS Mumbai, IIFT Kolkata, IIT Madras, XLRI J, and MICA, Ahmedabad in the final round.
Talking about her experience, Sakshi Bansal said, “It was an amazing opportunity to apply classroom learning and come up with practical and innovative tech solutions. Every business is integrating Gen AI in their operations, and we proposed the same to Samsung, hoping to see our ideas getting implemented as well.”
