Mini Menon visits IFIM
IFIM students had a thoughtful day today through the guest lecture by Ms.Mini Menon. Ms. Menon being an Indian journalist for the past 15 years feels that business in India is more important than politics.

She feels business is going to make India go ahead. There is a good ecosystem for growth of business in India but her concern was on the quality of new talents.

She being the warehouse of information on Indian business has been impressed by few entrepreneurs in India, which is her inspiration behind her book “Riding The Wave: Seven leaders of change”.

Talking about the book, she gives us a gist of each of the seven leader and their inspirational thoughts. Talking on Mr.Ajay Piramal she described him as a man who built something out of nothing, Mr.GM Rao (founder of GMR group) for the wonder he created, Ronnie Screwvala for his humility, Mr. Rajiv Chandrasekaran for his passion.

On interacting with the students she stressed on the impact of the qualities the society is expecting from the current pool of graduates. Going forward as a piece of advice to students she added a point that learning is a continuous process & one must constantly skill oneself.

IFIM also drives on the thought of continuous improvement; we future leaders take an oath to abide by the same.
