Campus Alumni meet at Jaipuria focused on Raising the bar

Punarsangam 2014 – The 3rd all campus alumni meet of Jaipuria Institute of Management was organized  at India Habitat Centre , New Delhi  recently.

 

This conglomeration was well attended by  alumni from the inception batch 1995-97 of Lucknow campus to the first rolled out alumni from Jaipuria Indore campus . The event began with the ceremonial lighting of lamp by eminent guests and was followed by a mesmerising classical dance performance by ParidhiBathwal on Ganesh vandana

 

The Vice Chairperson of JaipuriaInstitue of Management  Mr. ShreevatsJaipuria,  Director General Dr.Pankaj Gupta, Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida Dr.Rajiv R Thakur graced the occasion with their  presence.

 

Thereafter the panel of eminent members (alumni) Mr. AnshumalDikshit-Head HR I-Gate , Mr. YateshWahaal- Pegasus international Advisory Private Limited, Mr. Vineet Aurora-Area Sales Manager,HCL, Mr. SwapnilTiwari-Social Entreprenuer heading Naked Colours, Mr. TanmaySar-Deputy Manager-Media Marketing HTMedia, Ms. Vijayeta Singh- Researcher,Mr. SandeepMohanty-HR Manager Amtek Auto,,Mr. Soham-IBM,  Mr. Pawan Vijay-Asst. HR Manager Quattro Global Services and along with Dr. PrabhatPankajDirector, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur  who was the moderator in the entire discussion shared their thoughts on "Raising the bar: Making students industry-ready". . 

 

The session deliberated on engagaement of alumni group who can train the current students to improve their overall standards help theme in living and fulfilling there dreams.The panel also shared about career progression plan whether students should focus on first job or they should go for career five years down the line. 

 

First get a job and then go for career or  vice-versa.Amidst nostalgic moments, alumni talked about their current lives, shared their corporate experiences and recalled their golden days at Jaipuria. The event witnessed the presence of around 250 alumni consisting around 100 alumni from Noida Campus, 60 from LucknowCampus ,and 90 from Indore and Jaipur Campus. 

 

The event came to an end with the words of gratitude expressed by  Dr.Pankaj Gupta. Kudos to the live audience the alumni of all four Campus. The salient feature of the event was the alumni from the first batch till the young budding managers interacted and got the taste , glimpse of corporate world and at the end of the day all managers relived there old fond memories. The minutes, Hours, weeks, months and years they waited was worth the patience.
