The post graduate programme for working executives conducted by Indian Institute of Management - Raipur is a very popular programme among the executives of Indian industry. The executives with more than five years of experience from various industries like- it, banking, steel, aluminium, chemical, media, private industries and government departments are currently pursuing the programme. Participants are from Chhattishgarh, Pune, Nagpur, and Kolkata and from various other cities of India. This is a part time course with classes on Saturday and Sunday conducted at IIM – Raipur campus. The course is very extensive and participants are selected through business aptitude test.
The batch of 2013-14 of PGPWE organized a welcome party for the batch of 2014-15 on July 12th, Saturday, at Hotel Sapphire Inn, Raipur. The programme was attended enthusiastically by the participants of both the batches.
Dr. B.S.Sahay, director – IIM- Raipur, Dr. K.K.Ray, Chairman- PGPWE, Dr. Pradymun Das, Dr. PRS Sarma, Dr. M. Kannadhasan, Dr. Archana Parashar, Dr. Anaga Shukre and Dr. Debdutta Pal graced the programme with their presence.
On the auspicious day of gurupurnima the programme started with shloka recited by Sanjay Agrawal. The programme was conducted by Malay Jain, DarshnitaB Ahluwalia and Aditi Singhal. Karanjit Saluja and Anand Voletti welcomed the guests by presenting plant saplings. The introduction of executives from the batch of 2014-15 was followed by presenting of flower and gifts by the seniors.
The welcome was followed by cultural event- songs, plays and dance was presented by Basant Goutam, Manish Tikaria, Karanjitsingh Saluja, Subhadeep Khan, Swapnil Chouhan, Niraj Trivedi, Darshnita B Ahluwalia, Aditi Singhal, Sanjay Agrawal and Malay Jain.
The fresher batch also presented cultural events like group dance, party games and songs. Director Dr.B.S.Sahay and Dr. Pradyumana Das also delighted the audience with their songs.
