To acknowledge the spirit of the legendary visionary- Dr. O.P. Bhalla, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI), has formed the ‘Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation’, which is a registered trust, having Philanthropy, as its sole objective. The Foundation is committed to work towards Dr. Bhalla’s ideals of nation-building, while aiming to undertake developmental activities, research and training, in numerous fields, like Education, Environmental Protection, Sustainable Development, Health and Well-being, Gender Inequality, etc.

Through its sustained efforts, the Foundation has already initiated activities to strengthen education systems, while responding to global challenges, through transformative education. The Foundation is constantly working towards training and capacity building pf people, with a special emphasis on the youth’s needs of seeking employment opportunities.

As a step towards the betterment of the society and environment, the Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation is taking up various activities for energy conservation, like creating awareness about green energy, etc.

Community Connect Initiatives

Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, formerly MRIU, has been playing a crucial role in the Enterprise Social Responsibility, since its inception in the year 1997, as Career Institute of Technology and Management (CITM). Some of the pivotal projects taken up by MRIIRS include, creating awareness about some deadly diseases, namely: Thalassemia, Mouth Cancer, Hemophilia, Dengue, Chikungunya, etc., the ones that are easily preventable. The Institute held free health check-up camps and blood donation camps, along with running free OPD for Nutrition and Dietetics, Physiotherapy, and holding awareness rallies for the prevention of activities like ‘Ragging’ through National-level Seminars. Other topics that the Institution covered included: Raising awareness about a Cracker-free Diwali, Helping the Faridabad Police in creating awareness for Traffic Rules, etc.

MRIIRS has taken up various causes for the benefit of the society, has built up a process, along with a sense of community and teamwork, among the teachers, students, faculty and staff.

Margdarshan

Margdarshan is a non-profit organization, which is dedicated to the cause of the Road Safety in India. The society has been duly registered under the Societies Registration Regulation Act, 1860, as on June 24, 2009, and under Section-12 of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Margdarshan Society was formed by a group of intellectuals, that comprised of Chartered Accountants, Advocates, Doctors, Businessmen, Educationists, and Social Workers, under the sterling guidance of Sh. Alok Mittal, IPS, presently IG, Law Order, Haryana Police.

Faridabad Navchetna Trust

The Faridabad Navchetna Trust is dedicated towards the transformation of the social and the cultural life of the city. It aims to improve the quality of lives of the people in the Faridabad district, along with inclusive growth and development of the society and its people, and conserve the diversity of the cultures, industrial and infrastructural development, make a provision for the modern educational facilities and amenities, to build up a clean and environment friendly district of the state of Haryana.

Making a Difference, Transforming Lives

The Foundation has established numerous milestones and an eminently massive transformation in the lives of the marginalized and the underprivileged, through various Skill Development workshops. The Foundation has also been providing the youth with the necessary skills for maintaining a decent livelihood, along with working towards improving the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER), for higher education in Faridabad.

Largest Tree Plantation

Manav Rachna has been a part of the largest Plantation Drive in the country, wherein, around 20,000 citizen volunteers from the city, planted over 2 lakh plants in three years, on July 25, 2015, under the campaign ‘Ek din go green’. This remarkable event was witnessed by Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar, and depicted the use of the substantial 3Rs, namely, Reduce, Re-use, and Recycle.

Tallest Tiranga

Manav Rachna was associated with the installation of the country’s tallest Tiranga (250 ft. height), that upheld the nation’s pride and honor.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Under the Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation’s Swachh Haryana, Swachh Bharat Initiative, various drives are taken up by the different constituents of MREI, to keep the Old Faridabad Railway Station clean, to keep abreast with the Government Project.

Promoting Gender Sensitization

The Faculty of Management Studies, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, formerly MRIU, celebrated: ‘SWAYAM SIDDHA: Celebrating Being a Woman’, as part of its efforts, in creating significant awareness on the gender sensitization among the youth, in association with Sindhu Srijan, which is an NGO, working on the Women and Youth empowerment.
