The SME Chamber of India organized its 3rd Annual National Conference on “India SME Banking Conclave” and the 16th Edition of “India SME Excellence Awards” at Mumbai recently on the theme Strengthening SMEs for sustained growth. SME Chamber of India is a National level leading organization, representing large number of member SMEs from Manufacturing and Service Sectors for the last 20 years. The Chamber supports and assists SMEs for capacity building, business growth, export promotion, channelize finance & investment, joint ventures, technology transfers, international collaborations, Marketing, Distribution, Branding, Merger & Acquisition and to enhance business activities in various countries. The Chamber provides business & industrial advisory services and support to resolve issues and problems of SMEs and other Industries. The Chamber has been recognizing the Entrepreneurs for their exemplary achievements in their respective industry and businesses. The Chamber regularly organizes National and International level Conferences, SME Business Club Meets, Seminars, Interactive & Networking Meetings and other trade promotional activities. The Chamber has presence in every State of India as well as representative offices in various countries.
Prof. Dr. Sanjay Chordiya - Chairman, SME Chamber of India –Pune region has been actively contributing towards the initiatives of Empowering SMEs for Global Competitiveness. During this Annual National Conference ‘WORLD SME TRADE CENTRE’ was launched along with CANARA BANK MSME EXPO – A TERM LOAN SCHEME FOR MSME EXPORTERS.
The SME Chamber also awarded ‘India SME Excellence Awards- 2014’ to various organizations for their contribution in various fields viz; manufacturing, packaging, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Invention etc. at the hands of Shri Anant Geete – Hon’ble Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India. Shri Geete and Dr. Anil Kakodkar – Former Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission of India, presented the LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD in Banking Sector to Shri R. K. Dubey – Chairman & Managing Director, Canara Bank.
The students of Suryadatta Group Of Institutes, Pune, Mr. rahul Shinde, Mr. Sagar Basarkar, Mr. Mukul Jhalani, Mr. Manonit Tiwari Mr. Ashish Menaria and Mr. Vivek Dubey attended the Conclave and were fortunate enough to actively interact with the CEOs, MDs, Bankers and other stalwarts from the Banking & Financial Institutions of India. It was a perfect blend of Practical and classroom knowledge for the students.
