What is SPJIMR - Global Management Programme and why should you join?

The Global Management Programme (GMP) offered by SP Jain Institute of Management and Research is a perfect launch pad for students who wish to make a mark on the global business world and gives a head start to their careers after the completion of the management programme.

The Global Management Programme (GMP), aims to connect Indian ethos and values to international business and management ideas to create executives with a global outlook to meet the international aspirations. Launched in 2010, the GMP, approved by the AICTE and AMBA, opens up opportunities for participants to study at SPJIMR and then, continue the programme at any of the four well known business schools in Europe, with which it collaborates. The schools are as follows:

1. EBS, Oestrich-Winkel, Germany

2. IESEG School of Management, Paris, France

3. Nyenrode Business Universiteit, Breukelen, Netherlands

4. ESB, Reutlingen, Germany

All these business schools have a formidable reputation and are known for their rigorous curriculum as well as levels of quality that they maintain. Students who opt for this programme, will gain access to the European business environment. Given the fact that Europe is an important business destination and also the increasing level of inter-connectedness between people, businesses and countries, this programme offers just the right framework for students to broaden their understanding and enrich themselves.

The GMP has several benefits attached to it for the students. In addition to exposing students to a multinational learning environment and diverse cultures, the programme offers international MBA degree from the four reputed European schools. It is also a gateway to M.Sc. in management and with specialisations- an MBA equivalence for applicants without work experience. The students get to choose their specialisations and electives offered by European Business Schools and also get GMP Certification from SPJIMR, covering General Management courses.

The GMP also gives a chance to students to prepare company-linked master theses, get a chance to do their internships and graduation in Europe. Most importantly, the students gain access to support and training from Career Cell offered by European Business Schools, which directly improves their chances of finding good placement offers.

The eligibility and other details to gain admission in the GMP are as follows:
