CMAT 2024 Admit Card is out. Here’s How to Download!

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) admit card 2024 is expected today. According to official information, the National Testing Agency (NTA), who conducts the exam, is likely to release the CMAT admit card before  March  2024. When issued, the admit cards will be available on the official website, cmat.nta.nic.in and candidates will be able to download it by logging in with their credentials. The entrance exam is scheduled for March 31.

The 2021 exam will have a new paper named ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship’. Those who have opted for the new paper will be getting 30 minutes extra to write it.

Following is the public notice issued by National Testing Agency (NTA) regarding the CMAT Exam dates, shifts and exam pattern:

CMAT 2024 will be held by NTA on March 2024, in 153 cities across the country. CMAT exam is for admission into MBA/ PGDM programmes at 1000 plus B-Schools across the country. In 2020, a total of 74,486 students appeared for the exam. 

CMAT 2024 was earlier scheduled for February  but it was deferred after the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) proposed to add an optional section to the exam. The registration date of CMAT was also extended from February  to February .

Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. cmat.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link to download admit card

Step 3: Clicking the said link will open up a login page. Here, candidate will have to enter their application number, password, and security pin that displays on the screen.

Step 4: On the dashboard, click on the link to download the hall ticket.

Click 5: Admit card will be open in PDF file.

Click 6: Candidate should then save the PDF file, and also print the same.

The CMAT paper will have five sections – Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Language Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness and the new optional section, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The detailed CMAT 2024 exam pattern is:

Candidates must apply separately to the desired CMAT-2024 participating Institutions with the CMAT Score 2024. Thereafter, each participating Institution will release their respective cut off CMAT Scores which a candidate should meet to get qualified for admission to that particular Institution. Once qualified, the candidate will have to comply with the selection procedure of that particular Institution, which may comprise of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of the candidate will be based on the candidate’s performance in GD & PI.

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Management Programme(s) in the country. This Test facilitates AICTE affiliated participating Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses in such Institutions. Till 2018, the Test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is conducting this Test since 2019.

The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE- Approved Institutions / University Departments / Constituent Colleges /Affiliated Colleges.

CMAT-2024 will be conducted by NTA as three hour entrance examination in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode to evaluate the candidates’ ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness, for admission to the Management Courses in the Academic Session 2021-22. The participating Institutes of CMAT-2020 are the Institutions which will be accepting the CMAT Score.
