With just two weeks away, the following preparation and revision strategy could be opted:

Sectional Approach

Decision Making:

  • Make sure you time yourself while solving this section.
  • Do not spend more than 40 minutes in this section.
  • Try attempting at least 8-10 sample questions every day till the exam.

Verbal and Logical Ability:

  • Verbal reasoning questions comprise of topics like strengthening/weakening of arguments, conclusions/inferences, assumptions and analogies
  • This section can be a little challenging. It is advisable to skip the tough questions. Try to attempt the simpler and smaller questions.
  • Make sure you time yourself while solving this section.
  • Do not spend more than 50 minutes in this section.

Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation:

  • Time yourself while practicing individual DI sets
  • Arithmetic based questions are definitely asked and can act as percentile boosters.
  • Keep your calculation shortcuts handy.
  • Anytime you find yourself spending more than 2-3 minutes on a question, move on
  • Arithmetic topics like R&P, %ages, Profit Loss, SI/CI, TSD, Mixtures and Time & Work are also very popular. Prepare them well.
  • Make sure you time yourself while solving this section.
  • Do not spend more than 40 minutes in this section.

General Knowledge:

  • Try to attempt at least 15 sectional mocks before exam day.
  • Make a separate list of dates and events.
  • Go through various educational videos/books that provide general knowledge.

Overall Approach

  • If the above time distribution for each section is followed, then you are left with an extra 10 minutes to revise the answers.
  • Know which subjects/areas you are good at, and in where all improvement is needed. Keep revising the subjects even when you are done with it.
  • Be open for discussions and debates always, this will help you in public speaking and have a command on language and ideas. You can also check tips on taking lead in gd
  • Do not detach yourself from the world. Keep your eyes and ears always open to news updates and pop culture around. You can also check general awareness topics.
  • Hard work along with confidence helps you overcome the obstacles, but overconfidence can be a problem.
