, New Delhi’s top ranked PGDM (24th batch) and PGDM-IB (9th batch) programs for 2015. The application forms are available online and the application deadline has been set for 15th December, 2014.
FSM has been consistently ranked as one of the top institutes in India. It was rated ‘Best B-School –North’ by the ASSOCHAM, India’s leading industry body, and it received a National Level A** rating from CRISIL.
The latest batch will begin their session in June 2015. Students will benefit from an international immersion programme, which is one of the strongest academic-industry interface programs in the country. Due to its location in Delhi, meritorious students have access to a wide range of scholarships; in addition, students can work with mentors from a formidable faculty line-up, which includes close to 75% of faculty having a doctorate and about 65% having more than 25 years of experience.
The institute director, Dr. Jitendra K. Das, stresses the value of educational and social experiences at the institute: “Our emphasis is on providing students an enriching and life changing experience, which will enable them to reach new heights in life. Last year again, we scaled some new heights in placements, which reflects the corporate buy-in to our programs and student quality.” He further added, “A new building block, which meets world class standards, has just been completed and should improve the learning experience.”
Started in 1981, FORE School of Management, New Delhi is a not-for-profit institute backed by an executive board comprised of leaders from the fields of industry, government and academia. A 5,000 plus strong alumni network already includes numerous industry leaders and entrepreneurs, and provides a strong network to graduating students.
The placement season at the institute has always been strong and in spite of recessionary trends, it held its own in 2014. More than 100 companies visited the campus for placements, which put the student to company ratio at a startling 2:1. Companies from different industry sectors made their presence felt and the average earning potential for students was Rs. 8 lakhs per annum, while the highest domestic salary was Rs. 15 lakhs per annum. 20% companies offered more than 10LPA to students of Class 2014.
According to the Chairperson of Admissions, Professor Neeraj Kumar, this year faculty will “strive to ensure good diversity in the classroom. Last year we had representation from 21 states in India and we hope to continue this trend.”
To be eligible, an applicant has to have a Bachelors degree or equivalent (10+2+3) from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Students in the final year of graduation can also apply. FORE will accept CAT 2014 score only.
