IIMA Admission Process 2019-21
- Preliminary Screening
- Candidates are shortlisted based on the following factors:
- CAT 2018 Sectional and Overall Percentile ranks
- Application Rating Score – Class X, XII and bachelor's degree program
- Candidates are shortlisted based on the following factors:
- Shortlisting for AWT (Analytical Writing Test) and PI
- Composite Score = 0.3 (Normalized AR score) + 0.7 (Normalized overall score in CAT-2018)
- The remaining candidates are shortlisted based on:
- PVRC, PDILR, PQA and PT must not be lower than the minimum cut-offs
- P (average of the percentages of marks scored in 10th and 12th std. examinations.) greater than or equal to minimum cut-offs (specific to the category and the stream
- Final Selection
- Final Composite Score = 0.50 (Normalized PI Score) + 0.10 (Normalized AWT Score) + 0.40 (CS)

- Reservation as per the rules of Govt. of India are:
- General – 47.5%
- OBC – 27%
- SC – 15%
- ST – 7.5%
- PwD – 3%
- Performance in CAT 2018 is the most crucial part of IIMA Admission Process
- The candidates shortlisted for AWT and PI will be posted in website of IIMA by 2nd week of January 2019
- Communication will ONLY be sent to candidates who have been shortlisted and not otherwise
