IIM Ahmedabad Cutoff 2019

IIM Ahmedabad is the listed as the best MBA college in India and is a brand par excellence. IIMA is the -most sort after college for every MBA aspirant. You can apply for the post graduate and fellowship programmes at IIMA using your CAT 2018 or GMAT score. The cutoff for IIMA is very high which is followed by a grueling AWT and PI round. Only the students falling in the cream layer (top 1% to 5%) are chosen.

IIMA Admission Process 2019-21

1. Preliminary Screening
   1. Candidates are shortlisted based on the following factors:
      1. CAT 2018 Sectional and Overall Percentile ranks
      2. Application Rating Score – Class X, XII and bachelor's degree program
2. Shortlisting for AWT (Analytical Writing Test) and PI
   1. Composite Score = 0.3 (Normalized AR score) + 0.7 (Normalized overall score in CAT-2018)
   2. The remaining candidates are shortlisted based on:
      1. PVRC, PDILR, PQA and PT must not be lower than the minimum cut-offs
      2. P (average of the percentages of marks scored in 10th and 12th std. examinations.) greater than or equal to minimum cut-offs (specific to the category and the stream
3. Final Selection
   1. Final Composite Score = 0.50 (Normalized PI Score) + 0.10 (Normalized AWT Score) + 0.40 (CS)

Things to Remember

1. Reservation as per the rules of Govt. of India are:
   1. General – 47.5%
   2. OBC – 27%
   3. SC – 15%
   4. ST – 7.5%
   5. PwD – 3%
2. Performance in CAT 2018 is the most crucial part of IIMA Admission Process
3. The candidates shortlisted for AWT and PI will be posted in website of IIMA by 2^nd week of January 2019
4. Communication will ONLY be sent to candidates who have been shortlisted and not otherwise
