This course has a 2 tier structure where business fundamentals are taught via core and elective subjects. Apart from the regular courses, students are required to go through a summer internship between the 1st and 2nd year. As part of the course, students get to study and choose electives from:
Core curriculum – Students need to study compulsory credit and non-credit courses from subjects like economics, finance, marketing, operations, systems and organizational behavior.
Elective courses – IIMC offers the maximum number of electives to choose from across B-schools in India.
Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPEX)

For Aim: mid career professionals who to leap towards the senior and top level management roles
Details:
The entire course is divided into 6 terms, pre immersion week and an immersion term. The terms are either 2,5,6,7 or 8 weeks long with a break of 9 days. The courses range from organization behavior, finance & control, HRM, operations management, business ethics and communication and the likes.

This course is in partnership between IIM Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur and ISI Kolkata. IIM Calcutta focuses on application of analytics in functional areas and includes subjects such as marketing management, financial management, contemporary business analytics, business data mining, strategic management and the likes. IIMC is a member of the Global Alliance in Management Education (CEMS), and offers a 1 year program CEMS MIM (simultaneously with 2-year PGP). It brings together CEMS member schools (abroad), alumni, students and companies in a collaborative course.
