IIM Visakhapatnam Cutoff 2019: About IIMV

1. Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam was set up by Govt. of India in September 2015
2. IIM Vizag is mentored by IIM Bangalore
3. It offers a two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme (PGP).
4. It is currently located in a temporary, but the state-of-the-art facility in the Andhra University campus in Visakhapatnam. The campus is well-equipped and provides all modern-day facilities.
5. IIMV follows a three-phase process while selecting students for the PGP 2019-21 session.

IIM Visakhapatnam Cutoff 2019: Phase-wise Selection

The three phases of IIMV selection are:

1. 1. Phase 1: CAT 2019 Cutoff – Qualified Confirmed Candidates (QCC)
   2. Phase 2: Reconfirmation of Interest – Reconfirmed Qualified Candidates (RQC)
   3. Phase 3: WAT and PI Round

IIM Visakhapatnam Cutoff 2019: CAT Exam Cutoff

IIM Visakhapatnam considers the CAT exam overall cutoff percentile and sectional cutoff percentile

The weightage of the CAT 2019 cutoff is 40 percent.

IIM Visakhapatnam Cutoff 2019: Pre-PI Rank List

1. All QCC candidates will be sent a confirmation email and their interests will be reconfirmed. Those who will reconfirm will fall under the RQC list and their scores will be adjusted as specified in the PGP 2019-21 Admission Process document.

 IIM Visakhapatnam Cutoff 2019: Final List

1. Candidates will be shortlisted for WAT and PI rounds based on two conditions:
   1. Condition 1: Those who have appeared for WAT and PI rounds for PGP or PGPM 2019-21 at IIM Calcutta or IIM Bangalore or IIM Kozhikode will not have to appear for these rounds at IIMV. The scores from the above IIMs will be considered
   2. Condition 2: Those who are not shortlisted by the above three IIMs (IIM, IIMB, and IIMK) will be called for further rounds at IIMV.
2. IIM Vishakhapatnam gives preference to candidates who have been consistent in their performance all through Class X, Class XII, Bachelors and CAT exam rather than only focusing on CAT scores.
