Arnab Goswami, a famous name in the field of News, especially for the English Speaking audiences. Arnab Goswami is a brand of aggressive journalism, determined to bring out the truth about everything which has an effect on the lives of common public.
Arnab comes from Guwahati, Assam and belongs to the family of Lawyers and Judges but he himself is a graduate in Sociology from Hindu College, Delhi and he did his Masters in Social Anthropology and he was a visiting fellow at the International Studies Department at Cambridge University, in 2000.

Arnab started his TV news career in 1995 with NDTV 24x7, where he hosted daily newscast and reporting for “News Tonight”, a program telecasted on DD Metro. Later on, he became a part of NDTV core team as a news editor, during the time when NDTV transformed itself from program producer to 24 hour mode News Channel.
He has hosted “Newshour” the longest running news analysis show for any channel from 1998 to 2003. He also hosted Newsnight, one of the top rated news analysis shows of the channel, for which he won Best News Anchor of Asia 2004 in the 2004 Asian Television Awards.
Arnab is the Editor-in-chief and news anchor for Times Now news channel since 2006. His show “Frankly speaking with Arnab” is one of the most famous shows broadcasted on the news channels. In this program, he has interviewed many eminent personalities such as former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Afghanistan President Hamid karzai, Sachin Tendulkar, Sonia Gandhi and the latest being Rahul Gandhi. In this show he has interviewed personalities from corporate world, politics, sports and movies.

His Achievements includes the hosting of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks for 65 hours, live anchoring for 26 hours for October 2008 Trust vote, interviewing 200 politicians and analysts, and coverage of 11 July 2006 Mumbai train bombings.
He has received numerous awards for his journalism work, the latest being ENBA Awards for News Television Editor-in-Chief of of the year 2012, earlier he got Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism(TV) by the Indian Express Group 2010 and many others.
Arnab started his TV news career in 1995 and in 2006 he became the Editor-in-Chief of Times Now Channel. His career graph clearly states that if you are determined to achieve something, nothing is impossible, you just need to work hard.
