QS MBA Rankings 2020 is out and IIM Ahmedabad & IIM-Bangalore has taken leaps to figure in top 50 of the ranking whereas IIM Indore & IIM Udaipur along with TAPMI has been ranked in top 101+ bracket for their Post Graduate Programme in Management in Masters in Management category.
The QS Rankings always lead education industry embedded with innovations to help students to engage with top institutes and at present, in 15th year QS Rankings 2020 is out with authoritative and independent world rankings while having evaluation of all institutes of the world.
The QS Rankings takes the data which is based on research and analytic approach from the all the top institutes of the world and from the employers as well. It is over 13 lakh academic papers along with 70,000 academician plus responses from 40,000 employers the data is generated. The QS Rankings provide most methodical evaluations for the key areas of higher education to offer the potential to students and align them with top institutes.
The Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Global MBA Rankings 2020 has featured 240 programs and within that IIM Ahmedabad has climbed to 40th position from the previous rank of 48. IIM-Bangalore has jumped to 44th position from the previous rank of 71.
ISB Hyderabad could settle at the position of 98 in the rankings whereas unfortunately, IIM Calcutta could not find the place in top 100 rankings.
The most pleasant new entrant is TAPMI Manipal Masters in Management category and have been ranked in the 101+ bracket for their Post Graduate Programme in Management.
QS measure the institutes on the basis of academic reputation with a score based on the reputation of the institution. Secondly, the productivity and the impact of published work of the scholars at the institution is taken to account. Citations per faculty are accepted as a measure of research strength. The indicator of staff with PhDs is also one of the major strength been taken in the ranking methodology.
Both the Wharton School and Standford University are in the top spot in the current QS MBA ranking whereas UK is the 2nd most represented country in the rankings.
