TISSNET 2019 Result Date Out, Score Card

The TISSNET 2019 result has been announced on 11th February 2019 at 8 pm. The TISSNET 2019 exam result supposed to be released on 4th February 2019 earlier but now the date has been postponed. The TISSNET 2019 exam is conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and the TISSNET 2019 exam was conducted on 13th January 2019. Candidates can use the TISSNET 2019 score to apply for 53 Master's Degree programmes from at Hyderabad, Mumbai, Guwahati, Tuljapur, BALM Chennai, and TISS Nagaland campuses for the 2019-2021 batch.

The selection of candidates for different programmes happens in two stages and has three components of assessment.

TISSNET 2019 Written Exam (NET)

100 Marks

Pre-Interview Test or Group Discussion (PIT)

50 Marks

 

Personal Interview (PI)

75 Marks

TISSNET 2019 Result: PIT and PI Selection Process

  1. The Pre-Interview Test (PIT) or GD and Personal Interview (PI) is organized at four campuses:
    • Mumbai
    • Tuljapur
    • Hyderabad
    • Guwahati
  2. Candidates for programmes from Mumbai and other locations will be called to the Mumbai Campus for the PIT and PI rounds
  3. Candidates selected for programmes at Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati will have to attend the PIT/PI in the respective campuses

    • Those offered the second preference will be put only on the wait list of first preference
    • Those offered the third preference will be put only on the wait list of first and second preference
